Bowlin-Cantriel Funeral Services opened for business in 1947 as Bowlin Funeral Home with owners Earl and Clara Bowlin and Jack Bowlin. In 1984, Doug and JoAnn Cantriel joined the business and became the owners in 1991 changing the name to Bowlin-Cantriel Funeral Services. And, in 2003 Mark and Nikki Elliott joined the business. Bowlin-Cantriel Funeral Services provides full service funerals, emphasizing personalization and quality services with a professional and caring attitude. Currently, they serve approximately 130 families per year. This family owned and operated business is located in California, MO, with a population of 4000 people and serves the families within a 50-mile radius. Bowlin-Cantriel Funeral Services uses their custom phone cards to give to families that have lost a loved one. The families really seem to appreciate the gift, which helps to reduce the long distance bill during their time of loss. Each family receives two 30-minute custom phone cards, unless the family is large and then they give additional phone cards. Providing phone cards let's the family know that we do care about them and their family members.
