NBC Universal Named as Custom Calling Card of the Month by Corporate Phone Cards

Corporate Phone Cards, a major supplier of custom calling cards, has selected NBC Universal’s custom phone card for Phone Card of the Month for the month of October 2004.

The NBC Universal custom calling card features a picture of the hosts of the nationally syndicated TODAY Show, which is aired weekdays on the NBC Network at 7:00 am. October’s Calling Card of the Month also provides an audio greeting by Al Roker, one of the TODAY Show hosts, which is heard every time a caller uses their NBC Universal custom phone card.

On hearing the announcement that the TODAY Show was selected as the October Calling Card of the Month, Frank Radice, Senior Vice President, NBC Advertising and Promotion stated, “The TODAY Show phone cards were a great way for us to promote NBC News and America's First Family at a public relations event in New York City. The cards were a big hit and everyone was pleasantly surprised to hear Al Roker when they used their card!"

In recent years, NBC has become the dominant force in television news, watched by more Americans than any other news organization. NBC News provides more than 25 hours of weekly programming in the United States, including the No. 1- rated broadcasts Nightly News with Tom Brokaw, Today, and Meet the Press. The network also produces weekend editions of Nightly News and Today. Dateline NBC is the signature broadcast for NBC News in primetime at least two nights a week.
