Corporate Phone Cards, a major supplier of custom promotional phone cards, has selected Hammer Marketing’s custom phone cards for January 2005 Phone Card of the Month. Hammer Marketing is a long-term provider of cutting-edge marketing services to the nation’s automobile industry and is dedicated to the delivery of credible and effective niche advertising for this market segment. Hammer Marketing’s custom phone cards feature the very classic Ford Mustang, with a sparkling red finish and shinny gold-colored wheels and Toyota’s new kid on the block, the sporty Scion in sleek black with chrome wheels. The Mustang phone card is sponsored by Star Ford and the Scion phone card by Oxmoor, both of which are auto dealer clients of Hammer Marketing located in the Louisville, KY region. In addition to the custom design of the phone cards, each dealership had a custom voice greeting recorded, which is heard every time someone makes a call using their custom phone cards. The custom designed Mustang and Scion phone cards are activated only when the recipient calls Hammer Marketing’s consumer call center, at which time the operator obtains contact information from the caller for follow-up marketing purposes. The call center is provided with a direct link to Corporate Phone Cards’ telecom network, allowing the operator to instantly activate the caller's phone card. The unique phone card activation feature was the brainchild of Hammer Marketing’s chief executive, David Bock. When asked how he felt about his firm’s selection as Phone Card of the Month, he stated, “It is a great honor to be selected as phone card of the month. Our design staff went to great lengths to make an impact with the phone cards. We wanted a look that would encourage response rate and shelf life; we achieved that balance with Corporate Phone Cards.
