Ad Ventures is a full service advertising and marketing-communications firm based in Kettering, Ohio. Since 1981, Ad Ventures has been fulfilling the advertising, creative marketing and sales consulting needs of local, regional and national accounts throughout the spectrum of commerce.

Ad Ventures is the marketing company for Collett Propane. Collett Propane hired Ad-Ventures to create and administer a customer survey. AD-Ventures designed a survey program, offering a 50-minute custom phone card as an incentive to complete the Collett Propane survey. Using the slogan, "Give us 5 minutes of your time and we'll give you 50 free minutes of calling time." A 50-minute card was chosen in celebration of Collett Propane's 50th anniversary. The program was extremely successful, providing the client with a response rate to the survey of over 24%.

Shortly after completion of the first survey program, Collett awarded Ad Ventures the contract to organize a second survey. This time a 60-minute phone card was the consumer incentive and the survey focused on service related issues. The response rate is 19% so far, with surveys still being received! 

Both custom phone cards were topped off with a custom greeting, which was heard each time someone made a call using a Collett phone card. The caller heard, "Thank you for using your Collett Propane phone card. We appreciate every opportunity to satisfy your propane energy needs."
