Hammer Marketing has utilized their custom phone cards in two very unique ways. First, this promotional product gives a legitimate reason to ask for customers' information (i.e. address) prior to a sale. As a free gift for stopping by, a promotional phone card is sent to the customer in the mail.

Second, in order to activate the custom phone cards, customers must contact Hammer Marketing's call center. This enables their trained staff to handle the call, activate the card, and set an appointment to return to the dealership. Early indicators predict cost savings by using this method. Hammer Marketing was able to eliminate some of their outbound call volume since customers want to call in to activate the cards.
